Secondary school No.119 in Turkan settlement

Khazar district’s Turkan settlement secondary school No.119 named after D.Jabrailov has undergone a major repair within the “New schools for new Azerbaijan” project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the school after the major repair, October 19, 2011.

The building of the school designed for 550 schoolchildren was built in 1966. 238 schoolchildren are educated in the new building intended for 300 schoolchildren additionally built for primary education children.

The school has been supplied with high quality equipment.  The Foundation presented 40 computers to the school. The school has a library accommodating over 18 thousand books, an assembly hall for 120 persons intended for holding various events, and a cafeteria. The school building has been provided with centralized camera-surveillance system.
