President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva meet Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva met, May 18, Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani.

At the meeting, successful development of the relations between Azerbaijan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was underscored and the significance of joint projects implemented in various spheres was emphasized. Mentioning his official visit to Saudi Arabia in April this year, President Ilham Aliyev said this visit was successful and brought to attention that it was efficient in terms of developing cooperation ties in various spheres further. 

Iyad Bin Amin Madani said the wide-scale improvement works and development processes he witnessed here have made profound impression on him. Talking about the significance of the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, which is held for the third time now, Iyad bin Amin Madani said this event was of great significance in terms of listening to different views and application thereof. During the meeting, confidence was expressed with regard to extending the relations between Azerbaijan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation further.
