Books published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were presented to the Central Library of Helsinki

On April 26, following the initiative and with organizational support from the State Telegraph Agency of Azerbaijan (AzerTAg) and the Finland-Azerbaijan Association (FAA), books about Azerbaijan and CDs with our mughams, jazz  music and popular songs have been presented to the Central Library of Helsinki.


Published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the books  are devoted to our country’s culture, art, history and tourism opportunities. Publications have been printed in three languages – Azerbaijani, Russian and English.


Employee of the foreign literature section of the Central Library of Helsinki  Antti Makinen said currently the library has tens of books associated with Azerbaijan. A.Makinen said, in accordance with the internal rules of the library, books are mostly acquired based on readers’ request and informed that currently number of readers showing interest to Azerbaijani books in different languages is increasing.
