Presentation of the book “The Culinary Culture of Azerbaijan” takes place in Paris

On September 19, inauguration of the Village d’Azerbaijan took place in Paris, with organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the event.

 

Arranged on Joffre Square near Eiffel Tower in capital Paris, the Village d’Azerbaijan’s official opening ceremony was attended by also well-known public and political figures of France.

 

Within the framework of the event took also place presentation of another book of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation – The Culinary Culture of Azerbaijan. The book has been printed in French, with the author of the photos being Peter Lippman, a well-known American photographer living in France. Detailed information is given in the book about the historical roots of Azerbaijan’s national cuisine, and the rich cuisine culture.

 

The book “The Culinary Culture of Azerbaijan” was first printed in 2105 in English.
