The Second International Exhibition “From Waste to Art” will be held following the initiative of and with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

The Second International Exhibition “From Waste to Art” will be held  at “Qala” State History and Ethnography Preserve by “Clean City” OJSC, “Maiden Tower” Gallery and “Icherisheher” SHCPD following the initiative of and with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, June  16 to June 20.


Tens of artists from around the world will demonstrate their works of art that will make people think once more before throwing out their old items.


Along with Azerbaijani artists, representatives of art from countries such as France, Italy, United Kingdom, USA, Japan, Benin, Albania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Israel, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Russia will joint this international exhibition.


Unlike the First Exhibition “From Waste to Art” held in June last  year in Qala settlement, the format of this exhibition will not be like demonstration of ready samples of art. This time, it will allow to watch the process of transforming waste to a piece of art.


24 participants of the exhibition will work on their works directly at the exhibition site.


Busses will be arranged by the organizers for those wishing to visit the exhibition to travel to and from the Qala Preserve. Visitors may go the Qala Preserve on busses that will depart from the station before “Gosha Gala” (Icherisheher) at 12:00 and 15:00 each day from 17 to 19 June.
