10th anniversary of the “Baku Process” is celebrated in Paris

The 10th anniversary of the Baku Process was celebrated in Paris, with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, and the country’s representative office under the UNESCO.

 

Legal counsel Alain Tremolieres opened the event.

 

Then, minister of culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev and former deputy director of the UN’s Alliance for Civilizations, founder of “The Global Compass” and member of the “Baku Process” Jean Christophe Bass delivered a speech at the event.

 

The 10th jubilee programme of the “Baku Process” continued with a concert programme. At the concert, young Azerbaijani pianist Elchin Shirinov was accompanied by Andrea Di Biase (bass) and Dave Hamblett (percussion). National and foreign music pieces were performed at the concert programme.

 

Publications by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in French, related to Azerbaijan’s history, culture, literature and cuisine, as well as disks containing the country’s national and classical music pieces were presented to attendees of the event.
