On October 28, 2022, a photo-exhibition entitled “17 Faces of Action” was inaugurated at the Heydar Aliyev Centre.
The exhibition was presented on the initiative of Tatyana Valovaya, the director general of the UN’s Geneva division, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Association of Swiss Women & Empowerment.
The project aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, and contribute to the realization of 17 sustainable development goals.
The Sustainable Development Goals put a wide spectrum of social needs, including education, social insurance and employment possibilities, as well as combatting of climate changes and protection of the environment in the forefront.
Portraits of 17 Azerbaijani women living in various regions of Azerbaijan who have reached achievements in different fields supporting the sustainable development goals, as well as values, the history and contemporary development of our country are presented at the exhibition held at the Heydar Aliyev Centre in the sections “Success Story”, “Don’t Avoid Helping Others”, “A Symbol of Peace”, “Forward Only!” etc..
