Primary school constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is inaugurated in Vietnam

The primary school constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Giap Trung settlement of Ha Giang province, Vietnam, was inaugurated.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Anar Imanov and deputy chairperson of Ha Giang Province People’s Committee Tran Duj Guy, as well as officials of the province, the teaching staff of the school and other representatives of the settlement community attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Ambassador A. Imanov, having emphasized historically close relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, said the construction of the school building was the manifestation of the importance Azerbaijan has been attaching to the relations with Vietnam.

Tran Duj Guy, in his speech, noted with delight that among those countries that had provided strong support to Vietnam during the very difficult for the country years of war, and afterwards, was Azerbaijan too. Tran Duj Guy deeply thanked the people of Azerbaijan, especially, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, for the construction of the school building in a remote mountainous settling.

The event continued with a concert programme prepared by schoolchildren.
