Contribution of Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the healthcare

On September 13 German company `Karl-Storz` presented the 160,000-euro endoscopic appliances to Heydar Aliyev Foundation. This modern appliance to be applied in urology will treat the ills without open surgery.

Projects in field of the healthcare have special place in activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. It is third year that in frame of the `Highest care to the diabetes-affected children` program of the Foundation ills registered in the country aged under 14 are supplied with insulin and syringe-pens. Project `For life without thalassemia` considers construction of the diagnostic center, for which the site has been allocated in Baku, to prevent expansion of this disease in the country.

The Foundation assists to application of new techs in different fields of the medicine, pays special attention to international cooperation for use of the newest methods and achievements of the medicine. A number of local projects have already been realized in base of this cooperation.
