Blood donation action takes place in Gabala following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative

Following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, with the organizational support of the Gabala District Executive Authority, a blood donation action took place at the Gabala Treatment Diagnostics Centre, May 16, within the framework of the program “For Life without Thalassemia”.

190 volunteers working at different enterprises and organizations, education and healthcare institutions of the district took part in the action aiming to help people suffering from thalassemia and haemophilia. Specialists of the Haematology and Transfusion Research   Institute named after B.Eyvazov sent the blood gathered during the day to the Central Blood Bank.
