Documentary “Chronicles of the 21st century” made by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the 50th anniversary of President Ilham Aliyev aired

Documentary “Chronicles of the 21st century” made by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the 50thanniversary of President Ilham Aliyev was aired on the Azerbaijan Television, December 24. 


The manager of the project is Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. The author of the idea is Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.


Directed by Sergey Shanovich, the documentary begins with Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva`s opinions about President Ilham Aliyev: “Talking about unique personalities is specially difficult for their native persons. Usually people correctly say that prominent personalities are truly valued by time and history. But for the historical memory it is very necessary that people knowing them closely say their opinion, share their views. Just for this reason, today I want to say a few words about President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and congratulate his birthday.”


Children, secondary school teachers of the Azerbaijani President, prominent cultural, public and political figures extend their best wishes to him on his birthday.


The documentary features various periods of lifetime and activity of President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues great leader Heydar Aliyev’s policy. It deals with Azerbaijani President`s foreign policy successes, his important contributions to development of economy, culture, education, healthcare, sports as well as protection of national and spiritual values, improvement of welfare of population.


Family members emphasize his high intellect, professionalism, will, belief in human and in the victory of humanism.


The documentary states President Ilham Aliyev has always believed in the wisdom and talent of the Azerbaijani people and for this reason he has reached all his goals.


The film is enriched with stills reflecting Azerbaijan’s riches, ancient culture, magnificent nature, national traditions and present development.
