On May 12-13, 2021, the Kharybulbul Music Festival was held, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in Shusha - the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
In the framework of the Festival, music creativity of the peoples living in Azerbaijan was presented on the Jydyr Plain, on the theme “Multiculturalism in the Azerbaijani music”, and a programme comprised of popular songs and classic music was arranged.
People’s artists Alim Gasymov, Azerin, Dinara Aliyeva, Elchin Azizov, Alikhan Samadov, Farhad Badalbeyli, Mansum Ibrahimov, Murad Adygoezalzade, Natig Shirinov, Polad Bulbuloghlu, Samir Jafarov, Teyyub Aslanov, Yusif Eyvazov, Honoured artists Fargana Gasymova, Miralam Miralamov, Sahib Pashazadeh, Shariyar Imanov, Shirzad Fataliyev etc. performed at the festival.
Unforgettable performances of Bulbul, Seiyd Shushinski, Khan Shushinski, Rashid Behbudov and Shovkat Alakbarova praising Azerbaijan and Garabagh were sounded at the Festival.
At the gala concert held on May 13, the Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra directed by People’s artists Rauf Abdullayev, Yalchyn Adygoezalov, Honoured Artist Fuad Ibrahimov and Murtuza Bulbul, and the Azerbaijan State Choir under the artistic leadership of People’s Artist Gulbajy Imanova performed. Works by Uzeir Hajibeyli, Fikret Amirov, Gara Garayev, Alakbar Taghiyev, Muslum Magomayev, Niyazi, Tofig Guliyev, Vasif Adygoezalov etc. were presented at the concert.
