A concert entitled “Dovri-seda” took place in one of the beloved sites of Shusha, before the house of Natavan, within the framework of the Vagif’s Poetry Days.
At the concert, presentation of 8 pieces of music composed by Honoured Artist Vugar Jamalzade on the advar system took place, where the Ancient Music Instruments Ensemble performed. Vugar Jamalzade thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the organization of such a beautiful event.
Advar is the greatest achievement of the creativity of Safiaddin Urmavi, the founder of the famous school under the name of systemism in the Oriental music, in the field of Oriental music theory. By the advar system, the system of sound complexes making up the foundation of the Azerbaijani, as well as all the Oriental music is regulated.
People’s artists Nazaket Teymurova, Teyyub Aslanov, Honoured Artist Fargana Gasymova, singers Rovshan Mammadov, Husein Melikov, Aysel Ibrahimova etc. performed, along with ghazals by Molla Panah Vagif, pieces from immortal works by Khagani Shirvani, Imadeddin Nasimi, Mahammad Fuzuli, Mir Hamza Nigari, Mir Mohsun Navvab, Nizami Ganjavi and Shah Ismail Khatai, and before each performance, readers presented pieces from ghazals.
