Another group of Garabagh War disabled veterans are provided with prostheses with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Following the instructions by First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, another group of Garabagh War disabled veterans have been involved in the process of making prosthetic devices, in the framework of the programme of providing wounded war veterans with high-tech artificial limbs.

Taking into consideration individual characteristics, degree of disability and lifestyle of each of about 30 war veterans who had applied to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, high-tech products were chosen for them.

Technical specifications of the artificial limbs ensure normal life dynamics, allowing the user to move more easily, naturally, and safely.

Garabagh War disabled veterans who had been provided with artificial limbs have already restored their active lifestyle, continuing their labour activity. Some of them continue their military service, some engaging in Paralympic sports types. Saying “Such a step is not only a material aid for us, but also great moral support”, military men thanked President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the care and attention shown towards them.
