A Creativity Centre in Shamakhy city

The Creativity Centre in Shamakhy city was created with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Various types of workshops were created in the two-storied building of the Creativity Centre. Workshops for weaving, pottery, felt art, decoration, ceramic equipment, carpet making, sculpture, drawing and painting are operating here. At the same time, a sale-exhibition salon was created at the Creativity Centre.

At the Centre, created with the objective of supporting local residents and increasing employment of the district’s population, persons with artisanal abilities on a number of professional directions will be provided with jobs. Rooms were organized for children on the second floor of the Centre, to support their education, training and making sure they spend their free time efficiently. Here, children aged over 7 may develop their abilities at various study groups.
