Located in an area around the Sadygjan and Abilov streets towards the Zykh road in Khatai district of Baku, the Ganjlik (Youth) Park has been created on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Various infrastructure facilities were created in the park for recreation of city residents, and guests. Captivating view of Baku, including the Caspian Sea, is seen from here.

The Ganjlik Park covers 43 hectares of area. Some 300 thousand trees and shrubs – Eldar pines, olive trees, cypress, plane, cedar(tuja), oleander flowers and juniper shrubs - are on the territory.

Sports and entertainment areas were created both for children and elderly, as well as amusement facilities installed in the new recreation space. In addition, a sports and entertainment area was created for the physically disabled by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

Indoor and outdoor football pitches were built here. Picnic points, running tracks, as well as cycling roads were created in the park for visitors. Taking into account the vastness of the park’s territory, appropriate informative and guiding signs were installed in the park, for the convenience of people. A restaurant complex was constructed, and café and coffee points were created here.
