The Core Teamof the
Eurovision Song Contest 2012
The Core Team was formed in the course of preparation to the Eurovision Song Contest with a sizeable staff
responsible for various aspects of the forthcoming event. In conjunction with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)
and its agencies, the Core Team was involved in addressing a number of issues related to the project. These included
transportation, tourism, show arrangements, meeting visitors, security matters to mention a few. In the meantime,
the Core Team was maintaining close ties with local and foreign media, conducting promotion campaigns, holding
press-conferences on important project-related matters, as well as broadcasting daily news together with photo and
video reports through
