Over the night from 25 to 26 February 1992 the Khojaly town (in Karabakh), inhabited mainly by Azerbai-
janis, was subjected to the massive attack from the Armenian side. The units of the former Soviet Union’s
366th infantry guards regiment took part in the attack. As a result, 613 persons dead, 487 wounded, 1275
imprisoned, 150 persons are missing.
About 1,000 of Khojaly’s 10,000 people were massacred by the Armenian Army in Tuesdays attack. Azer-
baijani television showed truckloads of corpses being evacuated from the Khojaly area.
