President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, July 16.

The President and members of his delegation were briefed on the objectives of the Foundation established in the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijani people. They were informed of the large-scale projects the Foundation performs in all spheres, including reconstruction of children homes and boarding schools and improving their logistics, care to the people suffering from diabetes and thalassemia, construction of modern schools, study and propaganda of the rich national culture.

The main goal of the Foundation is to study Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, support projects addressed to Azerbaijan’s development, assist to promotion of its history and culture.

The guest got familiar with pictures talking about the great leader’s life, gifts by world-famous politicians, books dedicated to the national leader.

Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz signed the guest book.

He was presented ‘World of Mugham’ music album released by the Foundation.

The honor guest left the Foundation under rich impressions.
