Georgian teenagers visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Mutual visits of teenagers without parental care and of poor families from Azerbaijan and Georgia will be organized in frame of the cultural programme on the initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, and Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs, First Lady of Georgia.

 

20-member Georgian delegation visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, September 1.


Briefed on the Foundation established in the memory of the Azeri people’s national leader, the juniors were familiarized with rich exposition.

 

They viewed photographs and exhibits displaying life and activities of prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev, who identified the path of salvation of Azerbaijan, started a serious turn in the country’s public-political, socioeconomic, scientific-cultural life.

 

The visitors were acquainted with exhibits taken from the personal archive of the great leader and reflecting his childhood, youth, university years and statehood action, pictures covering the very different moments of his life and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, books written on the national leader, gifts presented to him by world-famous political figures, photos taken with figures of science, culture and art, leaders of different countries.


Georgian teens will be familiarized with the nature of Azerbaijan and life in the regions and visit the historic places there.
