Staff of the Foundation for Development of Science under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Staff of the Foundation for Development of Science under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, December 8.

The visitors were briefed on the objectives and actions of the Foundation established in the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijani people. They were informed of the large-scale projects the Foundation performs in the spheres such as science, education, culture, healthcare, including reconstruction of children homes and boarding schools and improving their logistics, care to the people suffering from diabetes and thalassemia, construction of modern schools, study and propaganda of the rich national culture.

They viewed exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting his childhood, youth, university years and career, pictures covering the very various moments of his life and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, books written on the national leader, gifts presented to him by world-famous political figures, photos taken with figures of science, culture and art, leaders of different countries.

The visitors were told Heydar Aliyev played exceptional role in development of science in Azerbaijan. Highly assessing the importance of science for development of society, the genius person attached huge significance to protection of scientific-technical potential, training of high-qualified personnel in the field of science and education, lifting the influence of scientific workers in society, integration of Azerbaijani science into the global space of science.

The guests were familiarized with books, CDs, albums Heydar Aliyev Foundation released for the promotion of science, education, culture, mugham, the masterpiece of the national music, truth about Daghlig Garabagh, and school supplies for children.

They watched film ‘Moments of Great Life’ on life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The guests left the Foundation under rich impressions.
