Employees of State Customs Committee visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Employees of State Customs Committee visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, December 9.


Informed on the Foundation`s activity, they were told the main goal of the Foundation, which was established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people’s national leader, is to study and popularize prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress, and assist projects promoting the country`s history and culture.

 

The Foundation performs huge projects, makes contribution to the realization of dreams of the national leader, who dedicated his honest life to the strengthening and popularization of his motherland, whose deep faith in statehood is a sample to generations. The guests were familiarized with pictures and exhibits covering leadership of the great leader in the republic.

 

Employees of the Committee viewed exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting his childhood, youth, university years and career, pictures covering the very various moments of his life and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, books written on the national leader, gifts presented to him by world-famous political figures, photos taken with figures of science, culture and art, leaders of different countries.

 

Supporting the national leader, personal staff of State Customs Committee has also given great contributions to the rise of Azerbaijan’s military strength and protection of statehood.

 

The visitors saw books, CDs, albums Heydar Aliyev Foundation released for the promotion of science, education, culture, mugham, the masterpiece of the national music, truth about Daghlig Garabagh, and school supplies for children.

 

They watched film ‘Moments of Great Life’ on life and activities of the national leader.

 

Customs officials left the Foundation under rich impressions.
