Actor Gerard Depardieu visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Actor Gerard Depardieu visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, December 14.

Informed of the history and objectives of the Foundation established in the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the guest was told the major goal of the Foundation is to study and promote eminent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic and cultural progress, help promote the country`s history and culture, perform projects to contribute to the realization of the great leader’s dreams.

The actor viewed the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and giving a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials on large scale actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, his childhood and youth, a model of BTC oil pipeline route.

The world-famous actor signed the guest book, watched film talking about the national leader’s merits for the people of Azerbaijan, actions of the Foundation, projects it implements in the spheres such as education, culture, healthcare.
