Delegation of TurkPA visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

May 24, delegates of the Turkic-Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly (TurkPA) visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Briefed on the Foundation`s activity, they were told the main goal of the Foundation, which was established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people’s national leader, is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s rich statehood and political heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress, and assist projects that popularize the country`s history and culture.

The guests were familiarized with pictures and exhibits covering leadership of the great leader in the republic, the items taken from personal archive of the national leader, whose endless faith in statehood and love for nation is the sample to generations. Heydar Aliyev, who devoted 25 years of his rich, honorable and interesting life to serving at the state security agencies, did huge works towards strengthening of national statehood, protection of national interests.

The national leader dedicated all his life to the progress of the motherland. The past, present and future of Azerbaijan is linked to the eternal name and ideas of Heydar Aliyev.

The delegates left the Foundation under rich impressions.
