Permanent representatives of Cambodia, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritius, Namibia, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sri-Lanka, Jamaica and Zimbabwe to the United Nations visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Permanent representatives of Cambodia, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritius, Namibia, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sri-Lanka, Jamaica and Zimbabwe to the United Nations visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, August 25. 


Informed on the background and goals of the Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people’s national leader, the permanent representatives were told the main goal of the Foundation is to study and popularize prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socioeconomic and cultural progress, and assist projects promoting the country`s history and culture, as well as to contribute to the realization of the eminent statesman’s dreams through various projects.


They viewed the exhibits taken from the archive of Heydar Aliyev and reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and providing a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials on large scale actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, his childhood and youth, a model of BTC oil pipeline route.


The visitors were informed of the great leader’s development strategy that strengthened Azerbaijan and changed it into a leader state in the region.
