Delegates of Euronews TV channel visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Informed of the objectives and activities of the Foundation established in the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, they were told the Foundation studies and promotes the national leader’s rich heritage, contributes to the progress of Azerbaijan, promotion of culture and history through socioeconomic and cultural projects.

The guests viewed the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and giving a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials embracing Heydar Aliyev’s childhood and youth, his large-scale actions in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, a model of BTC oil pipeline route.

They were told the national leader attached huge importance to the development of the press.

Euronews Supervisory Board Chairman Pier Luigi Malesani and CEO Philippe Cayla signed the guest book.

The guests were presented souvenirs.

The visitors watched film ‘Moments of Great Life’ talking of life and activities of the national leader and left the Foundation under rich impressions.
