Participants of competition “What do I know about Azerbaijan?” visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Participants of competition “What do I know about Azerbaijan?”, organized this January-May among students by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and embassies of Azerbaijan in foreign countries, visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, July 23.

Students from Austria, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Egypt and Kuwait were informed about the Foundation established in the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people.

They were told the Foundation studies and popularizes the rich heritage of Heydar Aliyev, supports Azerbaijan’s development through socioeconomic and cultural projects, helps the promotion of the national culture and history.

The visitors were familiarized with exhibits taken from the great leader’s archive and reflecting the very different moments of his activity, saw a model of BTC oil pipeline route.

The participants of the contest were informed of Heydar Aliyev’s care to the youth and development of science and education, as well Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s projects in the sphere of the preservation and promotion of Azerbaijani culture, also in the fields of science, education and healthcare.
