Employees of Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

On the eve of the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev, employees of the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 5.

Informed of the Foundation’s activities, they were familiarized with photographs and exhibits on prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev’s life and actions. Thanks to this great personality, who identified the path of salvation of Azerbaijan, a serious turn started in the country’s public-political, socioeconomic, scientific-cultural life.

The Foundation performs large-scale projects in the field of science, education, culture and health. The visitors were acquainted with exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting his childhood, youth, university years and career, pictures covering the very different moments of his life and giving a comprehensive idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, books written on the national leader, gifts made to him by world-famous political figures, photos taken with figures of science, culture and art, leaders of different countries.

They viewed certificate and diploma of secondary and higher schools the national leader graduated with excellent marks only, honor certificate for excellent education and exemplary moral, references characterized with only positive qualities in the collectives he worked, as well photographs taken in different points of former USSR, cities and districts of Azerbaijan, objects in his office.

Employees of the Library watched film ‘Moments of Great Life’ on life and activities of Heydar Aliyev.
