Mehriban Aliyeva met with French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller

July 12, Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, met with French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller.

Mehriban Aliyeva thanked and expressed honor for being awarded the National Order of the Legion of Honour in accordance with the French President`s executive order.

The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation pointed out Azerbaijan-France relations are strong. According to her, the Foundation contributes to strengthening bilateral relations, in particular, cultural cooperation.

She expressed hope that large-scale joint projects would be implemented in the future and it would help strengthen ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Keller pointed out both countries enjoy excellent bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also discussed establishment of the French school in Baku together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The project is believed to contribute to the bilateral ties between the two nations.
