Mehriban Aliyeva met with Head of the UNICEF Office in Azerbaijan Mark Hereward

Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, met with Head of the UNICEF Office in Azerbaijan Mark Hereward, March 1.

Mrs Aliyeva said joint projects with UNICEF have successfully been completed. She hailed the follow-up to joint projects related to breastfeeding and anemia prophylaxis, as well as special care to handicapped children.

The parties also discussed build-up to the international conference on this theme to be held and other projects proposed.
