3 Azerbaijan schools in Georgia repaired due to support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation inaugurated

3 Azeri schools in Georgia repaired due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation were inaugurated. 

 

As part of the Foundation`s Support to Education Project, Mirza Fatali Akhundzade Secondary School 73 in Tbilisi, Azerbaijan School 3 in Gardabani and Azerbaijan International Secondary School 2 in Dmanisi opened their doors to the pupils after the major repairs.

 

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has also provided these schools with high-performance equipment.

 

Reinforcement works were done at the cornerstone of the 150-pupil Mirza Fatali Akhundzade Secondary School 73, roof renewed, learning rooms, library, canteen and other rooms well equipped, new computer room created. 

 

The facade of Azerbaijan School 3 in Gardabani designed for 1600 pupils was covered with new tile, sport ground created, yard renovated, major part of equipment renewed. 

 

Reinforcement works were carried out at Azerbaijan International Secondary School 2 in Dmanisi, classrooms, corridors, library, dining room, gym completely repaired, new assembly hall, subject and computer rooms set up, new appliances bought, gas and electricity devices renewed, a transformer set, stadium with artificial cover built.

 

Azeri Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, Minister of Science and Education of Georgia Dmitri Shashkin and Governor of Kvemo-Kartli David Kirkitadze attended the inauguration ceremonies.
