Gazygumlag village secondary school 2 opened after fundamental repair

Opening of Ujar district`s Gazygumlag village secondary school 2 named after Heydar Aliyev was held after fundamental repair, June 29. President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse attended the ceremony.

The President was informed the school with 564 pupils and 45-people teaching staff was repaired on initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The school was built in 1998 on the 75th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The school functions in single-session base.

President Aliyev viewed corner on the national leader`s activity, his bust, get familiarization with gym, classrooms, language room, workshop, diner, expressed satisfaction for conditions created to provide high knowledge to pupils.

Then, President met with teaching staff. Teachers thanked President Ilham Aliyev for attention and care. They talked of importance of initiatives taken by Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, emphasized her care about culture and education. They also recalled historical services of national leader Heydar Aliyev, expressed deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev successfully continuing his political course.

Then, President came to the stadium of school, watched the children playing football, viewed the landscape around. He noted construction of new nice houses in village is linked to general economic development of country, said every condition must be created to give high education and knowledge to schoolchildren, mentioned importance of possession by them of several foreign languages.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva came then to the beautiful park in Gazygumlag village, visited the monument of the great leader.
