President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Friendship Association of Children with Cancer in Athens - ELPIDA, February 17.

Heads of the Association greeted Mehriban Aliyeva with esteem. Children presented flowers to the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

In a meeting held here with participation of children with cancer and their parents, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador  Marianna Vardinoyannis informed of the Association’s activity. Mrs. Vardinoyannis talked of the noble and benevolent activity of the Foundation’s President and works done in the humanitarian sphere.

Marianna Vardinoyannis gave a present to Mehriban Aliyeva as a memory of the meeting.

Familiarizing herself with the conditions created at the Association’s building, Mehriban Aliyeva talked with children and their parents, and gave children presents from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Children presented Mehriban Aliyeva a keepsake made with their own hands.

The Fist Lady of Azerbaijan wished children sound health and the team of the Association every success.
