Ukrainian First Lady visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

April 9, First Lady of Ukraine Katerina Yushchenko visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met Katerina Yushchenko.

The first ladies watched a documentary about the Foundation`s work.

Mrs Aliyeva informed Mrs Yushchenko of objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of Azerbaijani nation, the exhibits taken from the great leader’s personal archive and reflecting different periods of his activities.

Katerina Yushchenko was familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of Heydar Aliyev’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-famous figures of politics, books on the national leader, views said by world-famous figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, saw photos taken in meetings with leaders of various countries.

The Ukrainian First Lady signed the guest book.

She presented a keepsake to the Foundation.

Katerina Yushchenko was presented with “Garabagh mugham singers” music album developed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The Ukrainian First Lady left the Foundation under rich impressions.
