Representatives of State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Problems and active women of the republic visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Representatives of State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Problems and active women of the republic visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 7.

They were informed of 5-year action of the Foundation.

Visitors were familiarized with gifts presented to the genius son of our nation by world-famous figures of politics, books on the national leader, his pictures taken while working at the state security agencies, in the high state office in Moscow, family album, views said by world-famous figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the state of Azerbaijan, as well portrait of the great leader painted by People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Tahir Salahov in 1983.

They were told the national leader always paid huge attention to women working in field of science, education, art and culture.

Guests presented book ‘Heydar Aliyev and state woman policy’ to the Foundation. Chairwoman of State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Problems Hijran Huseynova and ombudsman Elmira Suleimanova read out the letters of congratulations on the Foundation’s 5th anniversary.

Congratulating Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, on behalf of the bodies they represent on the jubilee the speakers stressed importance of huge projects implemented by the Foundation in field of education, science, health, culture, sport and other fields, expressed gratitude for care and attention.

Finally, film ‘Moments of great life’ on life and actions of Heydar Aliyev was shown.
