Members of India-Azerbaijan Association visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

May 25, President of India-Azerbaijan Association (IAA) Benoy Vattappilli and members of the Organization visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.


They viewed the exhibits taken from the archive of the national leader, reflecting separate eras of his activity and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, diplomas of educational centers from which the national leader graduated with excellent marks, certificates of national security bodies he worked for, pictures displaying construction works he carried out in Azerbaijan both in soviet and independence eras, honor certificates and documents, as well years the great leader lived and worked in Baku, Nakhchyvan, Moscow, successes achieved in the country during his leadership, projects implemented.

 

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also performs large-scale projects, makes contribution to realization of the national leader’s dreams.

 

Visitors saw photographs taken in meetings Heydar Aliyev held with world-famous politicians, heads of state, stands reflecting his care to culture, science, corner showing respect to the national leader in foreign countries.

 

Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Debnad Shou signed the guest book of the Foundation.

 

In the end, portrait of great leader Heydar Aliyev made by Indian artist Babu Edakuuni of sand was presented to Executive Director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov.

 

The artist, who has created so far portraits of famous figures of India and other countries, has used sand of Baku, Nakhchyvan and other regions to develop the portrait of the prominent person.
