President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva meets with Azerbaijani gymnasts competed in the 25th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship

May 20, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, President of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva met with Azerbaijani gymnasts competed in the 25th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.

First, Mrs Aliyeva together with the gymnasts posed for photographs.

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated the gymnasts on their successful performances, noting they justified confidence. 

She said the Championship was organized at a high level, highly valuing the great success of Azerbaijan in the continental contest. Mehriban Aliyeva stressed our team left in this championship behind even countries famous with rhythmic gymnastics traditions.

According to Mrs Aliyeva, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation has done significant work to contribute to developing gymnastics in the country. She mentioned our athletes performed very well and looked beautiful in the Championship.

Sharing impressions of the contest the gymnasts stated the high-level organization of the Championship and they tried to justify confidence in them.

The gymnasts thanked Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the care and support provided for them, said Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation is a family to them.
