Event on the 5th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation held in Lankaran

May 9, event marking the 5th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was held at the Nejef bey Vezirov Lankaran State Drama Theater.

Chief of the Section of Lankaran City Executive Power for Work with Public Organizations and Political Parties Alimerdan Aliyev informed of projects performed in the country on initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in field of education, culture, health, sport and other spheres, stressing the role of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, in these works.

He noted 9 schools were built in Lankaran district, 15 extra classes built in 3 schools, Othman Mirzayev Boarding School capitally repaired and equipped with new furniture and appliances under the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s “New Schools to Renewing Azerbaijan” Project.
