RDPU and the Ministry of Education present teaching aids to pupils in regions on the eve of the new school year
On the eve of the new school year, the Ministry of Education and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Regional Development Public Union (RDPU) have presented a school uniform and teaching aids to over 600 children preparing themselves for the 1st form.
Gifts were presented to pupils of the 1st form from low-income families, as well as refugee and IDP families that were forced to leave their permanent place of residence as a result of Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan.
Schoolbags prepared for children were filled with necessary copy-books, painting album, coloured pencils, pens, paints, play dough, scissors, and other school accessories.
The action covered children from 25 districts on East, North-West, Mountainous Shirvan and Aran regions, as well as pupils of schools and lyceums operating in Ramana and Masazyr settlements of the Absheron district for IDP families.
Within the framework of the Regional Development Public Union’s activity, projects are also being implemented with a view to providing support to increasing the view of the world and practical skills of children deprived of parental care, those in need of special care, and children with impaired health condition, as well as creating conditions for the youth to ensure that they can jointly act for our state’s current and future priorities, creating conditions for their education, and active integration thereof into the society.
