Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey holds event on the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day

Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey held event on the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year at Chyraghan Palace in Istanbul.

Head of the Representation Samir Jafarov delivered congratulations from President of the Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva. He informed of the Foundation’s humanitarian projects performed in 2010, works for promotion of cultural heritage, care to disabled and orphan children.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Turkey Faig Baghyrov, Deputy Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey Meral Akshener, Istanbul Governor Hussein Avni Mutlu, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Hasan Zeynalov talked of progress of the state of Azerbaijan, which has achieved the highest development in the region for the past years, importance President Ilham Aliyev attaches to the solidarity of Turkic and Azerbaijani diaspora organizations, daily strengthening ties between the two brotherly countries in the basis of phrase ‘one nation, two states’ by national leader Heydar Aliyev.
