Vagif’s Poetry Days
During July 13 to 15, 2023, Vagif’s Poetry Days were held by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the organizational support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan.
The Days of Poetry started in the village of Yukhary Salahly of Gazakh, the home town of Molla Panah Vagif.
On July 14 and 15, events were held at various historical and cultural sites of Shusha, including Molla Panah Vagif’s museum-mausoleum complex, as well as before the house of Natavan, at the Shusha branch of the National Carpet Museum of Azerbaijan, and Kharybulbul and Karabakh hotels. The closing event of the Poetry Days was a poetic and musical show entitled “Vagif’s World”.
