A Forum of the Azerbaijani Language and Literature

During 1 to 3 September 2023, a Forum of the Azerbaijani Language and Literature was held in Shamakhy and Baku.

Well-known scholars - linguists and literary critics - writers and publishers attended the forum.

At meetings held with a group of specialists, discussions were held on the role of the Azerbaijani language and literature in immortalizing and advancing of our culture, preservation of purity of the Azerbaijani language, contemporary literary processes, the ideological essence of the child literature in the country, and its problems, current condition of the national book industry, and the state’s support to this area, popularisation of reading among the youth and juveniles, the factor of literature in the development of theatre and cinema etc.
