A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania and the Romanian Institute of Art

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania and the Romanian Institute of Art, February 12.


Chairman of the Romanian Institute of Art Andrey Marga, Deputy-chairman Horia Garbea, heads of departments of the Institute, Director of the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania Igbal Hajiyev, Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania Farid Abdinbayov and members of Romanian state media attended the event.


Igbal Hajiyev gave comprehensive information about the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania and noted that the newly signed cooperation agreement would be a big support for implementation of cultural projects in Romania. Chairman Andrey Marga highly valued the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania. He said the new cooperation agreement would serve the strengthening  of the friendly relations between the two nations further.


At the end of the event, Andrey Marga was presented souvenirs prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.


Being a state-run entity, the Romanian Institute of Art was established in 2003 to promote the Romanian culture both within and outside Romania. It has representative offices in 18 countries. The institute has been cooperating with Diaspora organizations functioning in these countries.
