The summer school organized for students with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Mingachevir comes to an end

The 4th Environmental Summer School “For a Clean City” organized by “Clean City” OJSC with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation from 11th to 15th July in Mingachevir  has come to an end.


The Summer School served the enlightenment of the youth in the field of waste management and improving their environmental culture.


50 students have received basic information about the waste management and gained the knowledge of waste types, process of their treatment and rendering them harmless. Employees of “Clean City” OJSC have provided the participants with information about the achievements made in our country in waste management, the plants for incineration and assortment of solid domestic wastes, the Balakhany Industrial Park and relevant future projects.


In the training section of the school, lectures were read by experts for the students and debates held on environmental issues. Various team games, intellectual and environmental competitions were held for the young people.


At the end, the participants of the summer school were presented certificates issued by “Clean City” OJSC.
