“First Aid for Nature” hotline and mobile group has been established within the “STOP Cutting Down Trees!” Joint Programme

Following the initiative of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head  of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association  Leyla Aliyeva,  the “First Aid for Nature” hotline and mobile group has been established within the framework of the “STOP Cutting Down Trees!” Joint Programme.

From now on, once encountered cases of cutting down trees, residents of the city may deliver their complaints and suggestions through “1113” hotline using city and mobile phones to IDEA Public Association.

Citizens have been given a chance to address their appeals concerning cutting down trees using IDEA Public Association’s official website (http://ideacampaign.org/az/file_uploads_aze.html). In order to more precisely cover the problem, photos of the sites where trees were cut down may be placed on the website.

The mobile group established within the framework of the programme will examine complaints received and collect additional evidences, photo and video materials associated with the issue. After examining complaints and suggestions, the evidences and materials collected will be sent to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan to take a decision on the issue. IDEA will follow up the solution process.

All appeals received by IDEA will be placed on the organization’s website (http://ideacampaign.org/az/first_aid_to_the_nature/) in the form of a special questionnaire. Citizens may get closely acquainted here with the appeals received and follow up the progress of the issue’s solution.
