Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on June 30.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and President of Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva welcomed head of Turkish government with big respect.

Mehriban Aliyeva informed Turkish Premier and members of delegation of Turkey on goals of Foundation established in memory of nationwide leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. It was stated that major goals of Foundation are to study and propagate rich heritage of Heydar Aliyev, create obvious impression in future generations and guests on his large-scale activity directed to social-economic, cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support realization of international projects, author of which is genius personality, assist to works implemented for wide popularization of culture and history of Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev gave detailed information to distinguished guest on the exhibits taken from personal archive of nationwide leader and reflecting separate moments of his activity.

Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and members of delegation of Turkey were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very different moments of life of phenomenon personality Heydar Aliyev and creating an impression about an entire period of Azerbaijani history, gifts presented by famous political figures of the world, books on our great leader, views said by prestigious figures of science, culture, art and politics of the world on founder of state of Azerbaijan, saw with big interest the photos taken in the meetings with leaders of the countries from all the continents of the world, informing about his hard and multilateral activity.

Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wrote warm words in honor book after familiarization with Foundation: `I express my respect to Heydar Aliyev, great political man, who assumed leadership of state twice in hardest days of brotherly Azerbaijan and changed his country in very short time to one of the developed countries of the world. I believe that Azerbaijan will develop as stronger and independent state in future in base of the reliable foundation laid during his time.

Name of Heydar Aliyev will live together with Azerbaijan till the end of time.

Then Turkish Premier presented his souvenir to President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva.

Mrs Aliyeva presented the guest the book on the activity of Foundation, an album `Karabakh singers`, one of the very valuable projects of Foundation.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan viewed from the balcony of building of Foundation landscape of Baku, Caspian, Icherisheher, ancient and great historical-cultural monument of our people.

Hundreds of city residents gathered in front of the Foundation`s building warmly greeted President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, expressed them their respect.
