Participants of the First Azerbaijan-Russia Forum on Humanitarian Cooperation visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Participants of the First Azerbaijan-Russia Forum on Humanitarian Cooperation visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, 23 January.

They were briefed on the Foundation`s goals, got familiar with the items taken from national leader Heydar Aliyev`s personal archive and reflecting his life and activities.

Guests were told the Foundation aims at studying the great leader’s rich heritage, suggesting his national statehood ideas to the coming generations. Thanks to efforts of this great person who determined the way of salvation of Azerbaijan the country entered the phase of public-political, socioeconomic, scientific-cultural progress, the nation obtained sovereignty. 

Highly assessing the Foundation’s work towards the study and propagation of the rich heritage of prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev, his large-scale activity for socioeconomic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, the visitors signed the guest book of the Foundation.

Nearly 200 books on history, culture and other spheres were presented to the Foundation on behalf of the State Humanitarian University of Russia.
