Foreign participants of opening ceremony of "Baku - the Capital of Islamic Culture – 2009" culture year visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Visitors having arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the opening ceremony of ‘Baku - the Capital of Islamic Culture – 2009’ culture year visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, February 19.

 

Guests were in detail informed of objectives of the Foundation established in memory of the national leader of Azerbaijani people, exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting his activities.

 

They were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of Heydar Aliyev’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-famous figures of politics, books on the national leader, views said by world-famous figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, saw pictures taken in meetings with leaders of various countries.

 

Visitors were presented with publications of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
