Well-known Russian writer-publicist, professor Yuri Pompeyev visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation
August 17, well-known Russian writer-publicist, academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, author of book ‘Garabagh in the whirl of blood’, professor Yuri Pompeyev visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
He was informed of history and objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Viewing the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting separate eras of his activity, exhibits covering the very various moments of Heydar Aliyev’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, the Russian professor took special interest in exhibits displaying childhood and youth of the prominent politician, his multilateral actions in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, model of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main oil export pipeline route.
It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socioeconomic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support the works towards propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also performs large-scale projects, makes contribution to realization of the national leader’s dreams.
