Employees of State Frontier Service visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Employees of State Frontier Service visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 10.

Guests were informed of history and objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of the people of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

Frontier guards, attentively viewing the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity, numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, saw also photos reflecting childhood and youth of Heydar Aliyev, his large-scale actions in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, model of territories BTC main export oil pipeline crosses.

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also performs large-scale projects, makes contribution to realization of the national leader’s dreams. Visitors were familiarized with books on history and culture of Azerbaijan published on the Foundation’s initiative. 

Then, frontier guards saw a film about life of the national leader.

Chief of State Frontier Service, Commander of Frontier Troops, lieutenant-general Elchin Guliyev recalled frontier guards have always felt care and attention of the great leader, saying they always honor the blessed memory of the national leader. He presented Heydar Aliyev Foundation with a carpet reflecting the image of Heydar Aliyev and all the elements of carpet-making school of Azerbaijan.
